Brief description: Andrew Larimer has left the past behind. Rising to the top in a New York law firm, he settles into a new life with his heavily pregnant wife, far from the town of Kingsport where he grew up. But when she gets a late-night call from an old friend, she has no choice but to return home.
Returning home means returning to the house of the deceased father, where better days were. It means cheating on your wife. But it also means reuniting with his friends: Eric, now the town’s deputy sheriff; Dale, a real estate tycoon living in the shadow of a failed career; his childhood sweetheart Tig, who could never escape the city; And poor Mech, whose anger at the group’s curse has driven him to drugs and alcohol.
Together, five friends will have to face memories from years ago and a horror that changed everything for them.
Because Andrew and his friends have a secret. What they kept for twenty years. Something no one else should know. But the past is not dead, and Kingsport is a town with its own secrets.
A dark secret…
A small town horror…

as a fan Ronald MalfiI always look forward to her next novel. Every year he provides readers with great horror and suspenseful novels. From the exterior to the synopsis, I knew I was in for a good time. Small town horror It was another fantastic read Ronald Malfi. A tense horror packed read that moved at a great pace. There were some great twists, each seemingly out of nowhere.
From the beginning, I felt that there was something very wrong with the character, Andrew. I wasn’t wrong, and to my surprise and surprise, it was one of many twists and turns. Andrew and his four childhood friends were well built. Ronald Malfi It does a great job of establishing the characters. And his ability to build a world always made me feel like he transported me to a real place. Small town horror It was no different, it was a place to visit.
I only had one problem with Small Town Horror. This is the caretaker of Andrew’s childhood home. He thought of it as an afterthought rather than a necessity. That and the fact that Andrew didn’t reach out to him when he felt like someone would have. I won’t be more specific to avoid spoilers. All in all, Small Town Horror was a very good read and hard to beat. I ate it over the long weekend. I am now looking for his next book.
