Pieces is honestly a bad movie. He has probably the worst acting I’ve ever seen. Duplication only makes it worse. The story makes so little sense it’s almost insulting. Errors are everywhere. It’s misogynistic, homophobic, racist, and I could go on. So if it’s all scary, why put it on this list, especially on Halloween, which is usually kept among the best? Well, because it is – without a doubt – one of the funniest and most entertaining group movies of all time. It just shouldn’t work. as in general And yet… him does. with a spade You’ll be smiling from the opening credits to the closing because it’s so serious. Ironically, I love this movie. Young and beautiful college students in Boston, Massachusetts are murdered by a mysterious, savage killer who cuts up their body parts and uses them to create a human puzzle of the “perfect woman.”
I’ve put all these descriptors right up front so you know exactly what you’re getting into. But I guarantee you that even knowing all this will not spoil the experience of watching this movie. Especially if you are at a party or with a group. Pieces frankly defies logic for me. At first glance, I shouldn’t like this movie at all. I mean, there are so many horrible scenes or aspects in this movie that it’s hard to pick the worst. Is this a blatantly racist “kung fu” scene that gets more illogical with each passing hour? Does one professor turn the entire campus into absolute villains just because he’s gay? Is this the most pathetic and ugly “sex lethargic” hero of all time? It’s a crappy glasses friend that just comes out… I don’t even know. Is that the knife that literally bends during the waterbed cutting sequence (and they just left it in the movie)? And don’t even get me started on the biggest question,”Bastard! Bastard! …….(long pause) Bastard!!!!Well, from all these moments you can tell that I really know this movie and I really love this movie. This is not a big joke. I actually think this movie is fantastic. Don’t get into logic. Don’t go for a master movie. Don’t settle for anything other than having a good time. With pleasure, and the gem of Halloween, I tell you that if you let yourself go, grab your friends, you may not have a better movie to watch, and that is not the truth.
