First for Cut Week voice Season 30 Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Queen Latifah and Riley Green cut the seven-person teams down to three in what has been described as the biggest elimination in series history.
In this round, each coach selects two performers to advance based on their performance so far, sending them directly to the Top 13 live show on November 9. The remaining 20 performers are again performed by the coach, who selects only one artist to advance, while the remaining four are ready to exit the competition.
At the end of the night, the 16 artists not chosen by the coaches to advance will be voted on and the American public will select one artist to finish in the top 13.

Queen’s Choice: Lily Kolich
Team Adam
Adam’s Top 2: Lexy Stevens and Connor Close
Ensemble performances: Evan James – “Midnight Train in Georgia” / Dakota Cohen – “Blood (On My Arm)” / Owen Uffens – “Electric Feeling” / Amanda Mikel – “A Thousand Miles” / Brandon Diaz – “Dare to Move”
Feedback from the coach: “If I’m being honest with you,” Adam began. “It was a coin flip for different reasons.” In the end, he decided he had to go with a female rock singer because “there’s not enough ass on the show this season.”
Adam’s choice: Dakota Cohen
Team Riley
Riley’s Top 2: Cade Mower and Ferryn & Brinkley
Choir performances: Ally Rae – “4x4xU” / Everett Bounds – “Time To Kill” / Keyana Osmond – “Love Me Tomorrow” / Kaylee Matthews – “Walking After Midnight” / Joe Henley – “Don’t Close Your Eyes”
Feedback from the coach: “You all have something special, but you’re all different,” Riley said. “But I really enjoyed meeting you.” He based his decision on the fact that he was impressed with their song choices and that “if it feels right” then he should go with that artist.
Riley’s Choice: Joe Henley
